Heard this song first time today in the breakfast room of the hotel and couldn’t concentrate on the breakfast anymore. Had to ask the waitress if this is radio or a playlist. Luckily she had access to the office room with the PC playing the music and gave me the song name. So glad she was so special and helped me, guiding me to this song, this is like finding a piece of Gold. I’m blown away by the atmosphere of this song. Music for the soul!

When I’m producing a remix, I extract the best parts/instruments/sounds from the original, put them in the right spotlight and add my signature. In this song I absolutely LOVED the fat, pitched bass and the drums. Two words: LISTEN. LOUD.

In my previous post I mentioned that I just like one song from Ed Sheeran so far. I guess I like another one now. Just discovered on Instagram that Gareth Emery produced a remix of “Castle on the hill”. What a great remix! It has beautiful background strings and is a massive headbanger in the instrumental refrain after 2:09 min. Excellent job! Better than the original!
