Ticking Time Bomb

Enjoy my work for the Skio Music remix contest of the Elohim song “Ticking Time Bomb”. I loved the beautiful phrase of raw vocals “Sending up a prayer to the Holy Ghost…” and tried to build a song around it. I tried to express the song title itself with music, using NI Kinetic Metal.
This will be my last remix on Skio Music as long as there is a paywall (subscription required) to get remix stems. I have really enjoyed the Skio remixes. Instead I will now continue to create my own songs. If you’re interested please check out this blog or my Youtube channel for new music.

Hurt Me Now

These are my first steps with Ableton. Coming from Logic, I feel like I have to learn almost everything new. Also my first steps with AutoTune. I tried my best. Upload to Soundcloud and Youtube is not allowed for this remix contest, so it’s only available at Skio Music unfortunately.

She’s On My Mind

At radioeins, a radio station in Berlin, there is a radio show “Zwei auf EINS” every Sunday morning, in which the moderators sometimes play VERY alternative/weird music, probably with the intention to wake up the audience in a Sunday morning. This Sunday they found a pearl: Romy with “She’s On My Mind”. I love how the jumping piano chords are hand in hand with the rolling beat. Beautiful!

I Don’t Wanna Wait

Enjoy my work for the Skio Music remix contest of the David Guetta x OneRepublic song “I Don’t Wanna Wait”, a cover of O-Zone “Dragostea Din Tei”. No major modifications in my remix this time as I just had 1,5 days to finish it because free slots at Skio Music were filling up much faster than expected.
