Randomly, by watching all the Kygo “Making of…” videos, there was one video, where they discussed if the song is actually too long.
Never heard the song “Freeze” before, so I wanted to know how a Kygo song sounds like, which is potentially too long, so I listened to the full song…and I just love it. What a beautiful creation of a calm sound atmosphere. It’s one of the very special closed eyes songs. Not too long at all. It could go on forever.
Kygo has a beautiful talent to guide the listener through his melodies always with a positive surprise. Drops are sometimes predictable but Kygo manages to create different transitions with his magic, e.g. using the energy of silence or reversing or chopping sounds, to make the drop come out always as a surprise. Beautiful talent!
Love the helmet scene visuals at 5:55 min in the video. Thanks Kygo for your hard work and your gifts of creativity! There could be no better summary for this sound atmosphere than “Freeze” – it’s what humanity urgently needs in this information explosion.
What a beautiful atmosphere in this acoustic version of Tattoo by Loreen. I LOVE IT. Warm and soft synths, especially the arpeggiated synth starting at 2:36 min. is magic.
The announcement at 1 minute of this video is a representation of the current situation, where fear mongering (scattering us apart) is overshadowing the beauty of soft music (bringing us together). We are in a phase, where we have to decide for ourselves what is more important to us. This girl took the decision not to stop sharing the beauty of human art.
Great song “Ohne Dich” by Frank Morrisy in its “DJ Marcus Extended Freestyle Melody Max Mix”. The song combines computer-game music with beats similar to Rick Ashley or Sydney Youngblood.
Amazing song “Because You Move Me” from Tinlicker & Helsloot. A great combination of a relaxed atmosphere with dance vibes. Super cool low-pass filtering.
