Freedom to Händel

Georg Friedrich Händel was a German-British composer who lived between 1685 – 1759. One of his compositions was the piece “Sarabande”, which he produced probably around 1705 as part of his fourth suite in D-minor, it was published in 1733. It is so amazing that even 300 years later, his music is still popular.

It was used by the French House-Duo of Gilles Fahy and Philippe Laurent alias “Galleon” for a dance track called “Freedom To Move”.

The Sarabande even sounds great as a metal version of Nils Courbaron.

The magic atmosphere of the chords are highlighted in an excellent way in the cover version of Cindy RX.

Crazy

Enjoy my work for the Splice remix contest of the Robin Lynch feat. Vanessa Amorosi song “Crazy”, which is based on the mega hit by Gnarls Barkley.
For my version I locked the vocals of Vanessa Amorosi into a rotor cabinet during the verse and built my remix around the plucked arpeggio sounds because I just love them!

Concert Of Love

Thank you U2 for the wonderful concert tonight in Berlin. Although I do not like the acoustics of the Mercedes Benz Arena very much (I’d rather would have liked to see you in the Olympic stadium of Berlin, which has a much better acoustics and concert atmosphere), it was great to sing along and hear your music – they way you are spreading love.

Birds in love

In the city of Berlin I was surprised to hear birds – out of the radio! And the birds were surrounded by very nice music which sounded familiar. Yes, it is familiar! It was the biggest hit of the American songwriter Robin Stone alias Robin S. Her single “Show Me Love” was a very successful house music track in the 90s.

Sam Feldt created a completely different atmosphere in his remix of “Show Me Love”: Instead of a house dance track it is a melancholic approach with bird sounds and nice dance elements. Great work!

Atmospheric Love

This song immediately caught my attention when I heard it in the radio. The atmosphere of “Love” is just magic. Lana Del Rey’s voice is leading this atmosphere in a magic way with her singing and whispering, supported by vocal effect processing. Great instrumentation with a mix of vintage sounds and synthetic pads. Super beautiful song.

Hell Nah

It’s time for some deep philosophical lyrics. The dance track “Body”, produced by the Canadian production duo consisting of Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depacethe alias Loud Luxury has a super cool beat and is spreading wonderful vibes. Brando is singing in a very rhythmic style, which matches excellent to the beat.
This track also has a great video style, I love how certain moves are emphasized by sketches. Great job by Armada Music.

Happy Now?

Super happy with this work by Anton Zaslavski alias ZEDD, a producer born in Russia and raised in Kaiserslautern, Germany from the age of four. A rather simple arrangement but with a lot of detail and beautiful vocals of Elley Duhé, an American singer. Great approach with the pitching/robotizing of the vocals, it even sounds great completely wet at the end of the song.
The song was written together with the Melbourne songwriter Sarah Aarons (she also assisted with “Stay”), the Swedish songwriter Noonie Bao and Linus Thure Wiklund. Definitely makes happy!

Update: A beautiful acoustic version was also just released.
