Enjoy my work for the Wavo Remix Contest of the Sam Bruno song “So What”. Initially I got inspired by the outro of the original song, which is melodic and spheric, so I used the outro as an intro as well, removed the rap and transformed the song into a “trancy” style, hope you like it. Wavo is another platform for remix competitions, which I had to join immediately. Enjoy my work for the remix competition of the Petit Bisquit ft. Lido song “Problems”. Listening to the original song for the first time I was very sceptic if I can create a melodic remix of this track at all. But throwing away most of the stems and focusing on the improvisation-style vocals, I found a melodic approach. Finally it took me just one evening to create this remix, my fastest remix so far. On one hand it is very inspiring to see what a private company can do: Headed by Elon Musk, his company SpaceX managed the first successful Falcon Heavy test flight into space, with synchronous autonomous landing of the boosters – a stunning coverage.
On the other hand it is very disturbing to see what SpaceX is using this test flight for: In space they have released a red Tesla Roadster with “Starman”, an astronaut-suited mannequin driver, and cameras for live video coverage on the way to Mars.
Aerial photography and video coverage is already very special but it gets even better with very special music. Looking at this DJI Mavic Pro video, I discovered another song of M83 with a great atmosphere.
Stunning music, which I found as background music in a Youtube video about Elon Musk, with an amazing sound sphere and high sound density is coming from Fran Soto & Cesc Vilà alias “Epic Soul Factory”. Enjoy the magnificent song “Sigma”.
It’s not Lana Del Ray but Kaity Dunstan alias “Cloves”, who creates a very special sound atmosphere. The singer from Down Under (Melbourne, Australia) has a similar voice color as Lana Del Ray and created an addicting melody in the song “Bringing the house down”.
Finally, after hearing this beautiful song on Gareth Emery’s Facebook page for the first time, it’s finally on Youtube! A stunning unplugged version of “Saving light” with the wonderful heavenly voice of Haliene. This song is saving electricity but not saving emotions!
Odesza gave a beautiful acoustic performance of their song “Higher Ground” together with Naomi Wild. A beautiful completion of electronic and classical music elements.
The melody sounds great even in a simple acoustic guitar performance with a loop pedal.
